A Bunch of Pages...

I think the hardest part of keeping up a scrapbooking blog is taking pictures of all your creations and posting them.  If you think about it, it's kind of funny because we are taking pictures of our pictures...

Anyway, I've been getting a bunch of inspiration from Pinterest lately.  I used to go to challenge sites for inspiration, but it seems to be changing... my go-to spot is Pinterest first.  Don't get me wrong, I still like participating in challenges, but I always seem to miss the deadline.  I'll create a page and then forget that I created that page until later.  I'm not the type of person that will create a page and immediately take a photo of it.  I'm afraid that type of process will break my mojo, so I add it to a pile and continue creating.

How do you go about posting your creations?  I'm interested in different processes...one might work for me!

Anyway, I've done quite a few pages since my last post and thought I'd throw them all in one post.  I hope you enjoy.

All of these pages are going into my Disney album.  Trying to get this one done...

Listen to the Silence - CMS #54

Be sure to stop by Color Me Scrappy.  We have a very interesting challenge this time around!  Have you ever worked with just black and white and shades of gray?  That is what we are doing.  It sounds more challenging that what it is.  There is no stressing over what color of red we are looking for.  If it's gray or grayish black, it'll do.

I hope you have fun with it, I sure did!

I used white cardstock with washi tape for my BG.
Then I doodled the big circles and stamped the solid ones.
Added a couple rub-ons and bling.
And also a few BIG brads.

The funny thing is, my photo actually looks B&W, but to be honest, it's in color!

Do - Challenge YOUrself

Sorry for the delay getting this post out.  I was having trouble with my browser.  Sometimes, technology just gets the best of me...

I really enjoyed this challenge at Challenge YOUrself.  I'm really pushed out of my comfort zone with these challenges.  It's not just the photos of myself that get me, but I really have to put some thought into what I'm going to put on my page.  I'm loving it because I think it's bringing my scrapbooking to the next level.

Make sure to make time this month for this challenge!

Challenge #2: One Little Word
Chose a word that you will focus on and reflect upon all through the year and create a layout that celebrates your chosen word.

Here is my take on the challenge...

I loved the way this page turned out.  I've always seemed to struggle with layering in the past, but I have to admit, that it's come a long way.

I started with a brick mask and modeling paste and then misted green and red over it while it was still wet.

Next, I started layering.  My goto spot is my scrap paper box.  I found this yummy green wood that I started with and the scrap with the circles punched out.  I really don't throw away much because you will never know when it will come in handy.

I had been thinking about my OLW for quite some time.  I love this concept and I had never heard about it before this challenge.

To be honest, I am the worst procrastinator, so by choosing the word "DO" is really going to be a change for me.
